Hi you,
The day before yesterday was International Women’s Day. Did you celebrate it in some way? Maybe at work, with friends, or perhaps you didn’t think about it at all. Or maybe you even happened to eat one of our cupcakes somewhere — who knows.
Moments like that always make me pause for a second. They remind me how grateful I am for the opportunities I have as a woman — the opportunity to build a company, to grow it, and to keep creating.
A few newsletters ago I mentioned that something new was coming. That we were slowly starting to outgrow our space.
And now I can finally share it.
I received new keys.
Just a few houses down the street from the bakery, I now have an additional space. It will become my creative office — a place where I can step back, think, write, and work on the strategy and future of the company. A quiet place to sketch ideas and build the next chapters of the bakery.
Because behind the scenes there is often much more happening than just baking.
Maybe you’ve met the team in the bakery when you picked up an order. Or maybe you’ve heard me talk about them before. But besides the people in the bakery, we also work with several people behind the scenes — on the website, social media, the customer journey and all the small improvements that help the company keep growing.
And sometimes, that simply requires a bit more space.
Over the past weeks, in between everything else, I’ve been setting up this new place with the help of some very kind people around me. My heart is honestly very full.
My recovery is also slowly moving in the right direction. I can walk independently again and even drive myself to the bakery. That means I can be there more often. My energy still runs out quicker than before, so I have to listen carefully to my body, but step by step things are moving forward again.
After International Women’s Day we move straight into another meaningful period.
The month of Ramadan.
Even though I don’t observe Ramadan myself, I’ve always admired the idea behind it. A time for reflection, gathering, sharing meals and appreciating what truly matters.
For this moment I created a special Ramadan collection. In the designs you’ll find subtle details: a touch of gold, soft roses and refined decorations that reflect the spirit of the month.
You can explore the Ramadan cake pops, cakes and cupcakes here.
Because everything is made in small batches, we prepare a limited number each day.
Whether you’re hosting an iftar, bringing something to family, or simply sharing a special evening together — something sweet can add a little extra sparkle to the table.
While I continue setting up my new creative space, the bakery keeps running as usual. With new ideas, new plans and hopefully many more beautiful celebrations ahead.

Love,
