If you came to our pop-up on Saturday, sent me a message, shared something or celebrated 15 years of Amsterdam Cupcake Company with us in any other way: thank you.
It still feels a little special to spend all this time talking to you through a screen, and then suddenly have people standing right in front of me saying: “I always read your emails.”
That genuinely makes me so happy.
And now?
Now it feels like we’re starting the second half of 2026.
Yes, I know. It’s only 1 September and technically we have just 3.5 months left. But apparently a baker’s year works a little differently in my head 😉.
Because from September onwards, SO much happens.
Autumn begins. The festive season is getting closer. The bakery calendar slowly starts filling up, and behind the scenes we’re already designing, planning and preparing for everything that will be celebrated over the next few months.
Which brings me to the question that will probably make you think:
Faryel. It’s 1 September.
But I’m going to ask it anyway.
What are you doing for Christmas?
I often don’t even know myself by 1 December, so I completely understand if your answer right now is mostly no idea?!
But our Christmas collection is already here.
And maybe it’s actually quite nice to have a little look already.
Not because you need to know today where you’ll be spending Christmas Eve.
But maybe you’ll spot something that makes you think: ohhh yes, I want THAT later.
At least that’s one thing already sorted in your head. One less thing to think about in December 😉.
