As I’m writing this, I’m sitting with my leg up after our ski accident. A forced pause — and perhaps exactly the right moment to take a look back at everything 2025 brought.
What a year. What a beautiful collection of celebrations.
Last year I had the privilege of creating so many orders for so many meaningful moments. And that never stops touching me. Because this is what I stand for: celebrating life. Especially in a world where negativity often takes the lead, I believe that everything worth celebrating deserves space and attention.
From small milestones to big moments.
A swimming diploma — like my daughter Evy, who earned her A diploma last November 🏊♀️ — birthdays, the arrival of a baby, weddings… I was able to be part of all of them with cakes, cupcakes and cake pops.
From a business perspective, 2025 was just as special. We had the opportunity to help many teams and companies celebrate their milestones. And right at the end of the year, there was a highlight I’m truly proud of: contributing to the premiere of Avatar at the new VUE Cinema.
Christmas was a chapter of its own. We created an incredible number of festive orders for everyone who wanted to celebrate the holidays with something sweet. Being part of those moments continues to feel magical.
After this busy and beautiful season, the year ended with a well-deserved break for both the team and myself. While on a ski holiday with my family, life unexpectedly forced me to slow down as I enter 2026. A serious fall resulted in a knee injury — possibly involving one or more torn ligaments. I’m currently waiting for an MRI to confirm the diagnosis, but for now it means I won’t be able to walk for the next four to six weeks.
What carries me through this period is the team. The bakery continues to run smoothly. They show up, support each other and keep everything going — and I’m incredibly grateful for that. Even though I’m not physically present in the bakery as much right now, I remain closely involved and just as committed to making every celebration special.
This new year feels like an invitation to live more consciously and to keep celebrating what matters — big or small, personal or professional. We’re here to help make those moments extra special.
